Should Daylight Saving Time In Georgia End? Take Our Survey
Georgia state senators voted to abolish Daylight Saving Time. As clocks spring forward Sunday, March 14, do we end tradition or continue?
GEORGIA — Spring is just a few weeks away, and as we all prepare to adjust our body clocks to the springtime change the Georgia Legislature is poised for a different change.
Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 14, this year in Georgia. The State Senate last month voted to do away with that semiannual change, saying that switching times twice a year is detrimental to health (and makes people grumpy).
If the State House agrees, the Peach State will join Hawaii, Arizona, and all but eight counties in Indiana that stick to Standard Time year-round.

Patch wants to know what you think about Daylight Saving Time in Georgia. We've created a survey with questions about what you love and hate about it most, and how you think any tinkering with it could impact your quality of life.
The survey is not meant to be a scientific poll, with random sampling and margins of error. It's meant only to gauge the sentiments of our readers in an informal way. But we hope it gives a broad idea of attitudes in the community as we all reach for our clocks to change the time.
