TNT: Due To Shortages, Buy Fireworks Early
The consumer fireworks company is urging its customers to plan ahead as supply chain disruptions have caused a national fireworks shortage.
ATLANTA — Due to a national fireworks shortage caused by supply chain disruptions, TNT Fireworks is encouraging customers to buy early ahead of Independence Day celebrations this weekend.
The shortage is impacting all consumer fireworks companies, and Tommy Glasgow, president of TNT Fireworks, said in a press release that TNT does not expect to produce enough fireworks this year.
“We are working tirelessly to meet this year’s demand despite global supply chain issues such as shipping delays and container shortages,” Glasgow says. “However, we are expecting demand to far outweigh supply.”

Glasgow said TNT's customers should shop early for the best product selection.
Some TNT stores are now offering store pickup, the press release said, and pickup locations across Georgia can be found at TNT Fireworks.com. Customers can also try the company's products in augmented reality by downloading its app, according to the press release.

"Backyard fireworks are a Fourth of July tradition," Glasgow said. "There is more excitement than ever this year as we can once again celebrate our nation's independence together."
Georgians are permitted to shoot off fireworks from 10 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on July 3 and 4, regardless of local ordinances.
