Acworth Walmart All-Clear After Bomb Scare: Police
BREAKING: Bomb-sniffing dogs were called on the scene and the store evacuated after the Tuesday morning scare.
ACWORTH, GA -- Law enforcement officials in Acworth have given the all-clear at a Walmart after a bomb threat was reported, Patch has learned.
The store in the 3100 block of Cobb Parkway was evacuated Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was reported, officials said.
Detonation experts and police dogs were called to the scene but a search came up empty, Acworth police said on Facebook.

Their full message is below:
We do our best to keep you as updated and informed as possible...This morning at approximately 7:00 a.m., dispatch received a call in reference to a bomb threat at the Walmart located at 3105 Cobb Pkwy. The business was evacuated. There were very few patrons in the store at the time. Bomb techs and K9 are checking the store. Nothing has been located thus far.

Two hours later, Acworth police posted this message: "All clear! There was no bomb found in Walmart!"
The store has been reopened to shoppers and it's business as usual.
