Bartow Deputy Shoots Man Who Tried To Run Him Over: GBI
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said a deputy wrecked his cruiser while pursuing the driver, who then tried to run him over.
ACWORTH, GA — A Bartow County deputy shot a man who attempted to run him over, according to authorities. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation released information on the incident.
A man wanted out of Cartersville had Bartow County deputies in pursuit when one of the deputies wrecked his cruiser, the GBI said, on Country Lane in Acworth.
The suspect then tried to run over the deputy, who shot him.
