Body Of Cobb Man Found In Lake Acworth: Report
Police identify Ricky Wayne Watson of Austell as the man who was missing Friday and found in Lake Acworth on Saturday.
ACWORTH, GA -- The body of a 61-year-old man was found Saturday morning in Lake Acworth, according to news reports. The man was reportedly seen swimming in the lake.
Cobb police identified the man as Ricky Wayne Watson of Austell. Watson vanished in the vicinity of Cauble Park the day before at the lake, according to WAGA-TV. On Friday, rescuers employed boats and sonar equipment in their search for Watson, but to no avail. It is not known how he was found Saturday.
