City Of Acworth Holds Ribbon Cutting At The Cowan Historic Mill

On August 20th the City of Acworth held a ribbon cutting at The Cowan Historic Mill. Mayor Tommy Allegood congratulated owner Kevin Marcy on his new Acworth business. The Cowan Historic Mill is Acworth’s oldest commercial building. Since it was built in the late 1870’s The Cowan has been remodeled and reclaimed as an event venue with space to host large weddings, receptions, catered affairs and presentations.
