Cobb County officials cut the ribbon on the new 35,000-square-foot Fleet Management Facility on County Services Parkway Monday. The more than $5 million building, funded through the 2016 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, will provide maintenance service for county vehicles and off-road equipment. There are 18 service bays, a parts department, a service write-up area, and Fleet Administrative spaces. It was designed to be an energy-efficient repair facility for both traditional and alternative fuel vehicles.
