Officials with the Cobb County Cooperative Extension Service and the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County want to hear from community garden coordinators across the county.
That's because a Cobb Community Garden Council is taking shape. The council will not get to work until September, but organizers are getting the word out now to gauge the level of interest in the group.
From Smith-Gilbert Gardens in Kennesaw to CrossRoads Community Garden in East Cobb, the purpose of the council is to bring coordinators together to share ideas and information.
