Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre Prepares for New Season
The dance company is opening their 58th season with a repertoire of dances that run the gamut from classical ballet to contemporary dance.

The Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre announces their 58th season with the new and exciting performances. The first performance of the season will be Repertory 58. Repertory 58 is a collection of dance pieces ranging from classical ballet to original contemporary works. This year, GMDT dancers collaborate with choreographers Catherine Masciantonio (a GMDT alumna), Kathryn McBeth, Raul Reinado, Kassandra Taylor-Newberry and Lisa Toups, GMDT Artistic Director Emeritus. This is a show that will entertain all ages.
Repertory 58 opens its two day production at the Jennie T. Anderson Civic Center on Saturday, September 27th at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, September 28th at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.georgiametrodance.org or at the box office the day of the shows.

Saturday, November 29th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21st at 2:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 30th at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22nd at 7:30 p.m.
All of the Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre performances are presented at the Jennie T. Anderson Civic Center located at 548 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta 30060. Ticket prices for all GMDT performances are $22.00 - $24.00. Group Sales are available by contacting tickets@georgiametrodance.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre is a non-profit organization and is the pre-professional dance company based at the Georgia Dance Conservatory located 49 W Park Square on the Marietta Square. Over 160 dancers, ranging in age from seven (7) to eighteen (18) make up the GMDT company and are students in surrounding schools - public, private and home schools. Our dancers are students in many of the Marietta City Schools, Cobb County Schools including Pope, Wheeler, Hightower Middle, Mabry Middle, Lovingood Middle and private schools like The Walker School, Mount Paran, Midway Covenant Christian School and St. Joseph’s and St. Catherine’s Catholic Schools.
