Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up Approaching
Pre-registration is required due to the large amount of volunteers.

Civic organizations, lovers of the environment, and folks who want to do a good deed are invited to pre-register for the 29th annual Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up, held on Sept. 27 at 9 a.m.
Volunteers spend the day removing trash, debris, and other pollutants from lakes Allatoona and Acworth, and are treated to a free meal at the Riverside Day Use Area following the event.
“This is a great project for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, community groups and anyone who wants to help keep Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona clean,” the Acworth Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Department writes on its website.
