Happy Mother’s Day To Sharon Lynette Deveaux

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Maria Irene Cooper's letter to her mom:

Dear Mom,

On this Mother’s Day and every day, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. You are such a blessing. You have been there with me and for me, through all the ups and downs of my life. You have helped me grow, have encouraged me when I struggled through heartache and despair and have been there to celebrate me in my victories and triumphs.

You laugh at my silly jokes and are quick to compliment me and defend me when I am too hard on myself. You have given me help and support when I have desperately needed it, and you have been a wonderful and loving Mimi to my children. God knew exactly what I would need so He blessed me with you. I will forever be thankful and grateful to Him for you. Thank you, Mom. You are everything.
