In Loving Memory of James Richard McClain, Jr., 68

James Richard McClain, Jr., 68, of Acworth, died Thursday, October 15, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 Friday afternoon at the graveside in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens with the Rev. John Massingill officiating. A native of Clayton, Georgia, Mr. McClain had lived in Acworth for many years. He was a retired employee of Ferrell Gas in Cartersville. He was an avid fisherman and a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife, Liz McClain of Acworth; daughters, Monica LeAnn (Steve) McClain-Yoder of Jasper and Jamie McClain of Adairsville; son, Earl (Candi) Wooten of Acworth; grandchildren, Ryan McClain and Lindsay, Caleigh Yoder, Abbey McClain, Alicia Wooten, and Peyton Wooten; great grandchild, D. J. Hostutler; sister, Lucille McClain of Greenville, SC; dog and buddy, Z-Man; There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
