A brand new haunted house has set up shop in Acworth, just in time for the Halloween season.
Folklore Haunted House, which terrified visitors in nearby Dallas for seven years, moved to its new location at 5389 N Main St. on Friday morning. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held with members of the local business community coming out to support their new neighbor.

According to Folklore’s calendar, the haunted house is open from 7:30 p.m. to midnight each Friday and Saturday this month, with Sunday hours of 7:30 to 11 p.m. Folklore is open from 7:30 to 11 p.m. on the Wednesday and Thursday before Halloween, with the regular Friday and Saturday hours in effect as well.
Folklore hosts two attractions, a haunted manor and an even-scarier attraction known as “Adrenaline.”

“Experience your nightmares coming to life as you twist and turn through the endless pathways of The Manor,” Folklore’s website says. Tickets for “The Mansion” cost $15.
“ADrenALinE isn’t your average haunted attraction,” the website boasts. “Take a tour through this hellish and twisted mind distortion” for $15. A combo ticket for both The Mansion and Adrenaline costs $25.
