Roadway Improvements At The Intersection Of Cowan Road and Main Street Begin Oct. 1

On October 1, 2020, the intersection of Cowan Road and Main Street will be undergoing roadway improvements that involves removing and replacing broken curb and sidewalks as well as adding ADA ramps.

Following these upgrades and improvements, the entire area within this intersection will be milled and overlayed with asphalt and temporary striping. With weather permitting, this should be about a two week project. Permanent striping will be scheduled roughly 6-8 weeks later once the asphalt has had time to completely cure. Flaggers will be onsite to help maintain traffic flow.
