Jayland Hicks, 18, is charged with multiple crimes, including armed robbery, possession of marijuana with attempt to distribute and possession of alprazolam.
Deputies were called to a home in Cherokee County around midnight on April 22 after the owners said a man robbed them at gunpoint and "fired two shots as he was leaving the residence," sheriff's office spokesman Lt.
