Taste of Acworth Takes Over Downtown This Weekend
150 local restaurants and businesses will serve approximately 20,000 visitors during the Oct. 11 event.
The City of Acworth is preparing to host the annual Taste of Acworth free event in the heart of historic downtown this weekend.
According to the Acworth Business Association, the taste will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11. Organizers anticipate 150 restaurants and businesses will occupy booths on both sides of Main Street, and that 20,000 or more visitors will turn out to enjoy the festivities.
The taste will also feature live demonstrations, live music, and a dog show is scheduled for 3 p.m. A fun fashion show will allow event attendees to parade down the catwalk at noon. There will be bounce houses, bungee equipment, and games for the kiddos, too.

Parking for the taste will be available at McCall Primary School, Acworth Methodist Church, and Acworth First Baptist Church.
