Warrant: Drugs Found in 'Plain View' During Acworth Welfare Check
Three minors were in the home.

Three children, all of them under the age of 10, were found at an Acworth home filled with marijuana, smoking pipes and other drug paraphernalia.
Acworth police went to Justin Lamar Robinson's residence in the 1000 block of Taso Trail just before 12:15 p.m. Aug. 6 on a welfare check, according to an arrest warrant.

Robinson, according to the warrant, gave authorities verbal and signed consent to search the residence.
In a downstairs bedroom, police found a large glass smoking pipe containing burned marijuana, a set of digital scales, small rubber bands, marijuana seeds, blunt wrappers, a cigar roller, a money counter and an unlocked safe with a digital key pad.
Among other things, the safe contained three marijuana-filled "jewelry baggies" with "$10" written in black ink on the outside of the bags as well as $1,427 cash, according to the warrant.
"A notebook was found on the sofa in the room near all contraband ... listing out sells and amounts as well as the person’s name and grade of marijuana purchased," authorities wrote in the warrant.
Robinson was arrested Aug. 7 on one count each of intent to distribute marijuana and contributing to the deprivation of a minor. He was released the same day on $15,000 bond.
