1st Milton Restaurant Week's Success Drives Plans for 2021 Event

The 2nd annual Milton Restaurant Week in the works for 2021

Milton, GA (November, 2020) -- Milton Restaurant Week was born out of a passion to celebrate Milton's food scene and to support the city’s restaurateurs and operators in a bolder way, much like neighboring communities have done for years.

Founder of Milton Restaurant Week (MRW) Don Rountree commented, β€œWhile we envisioned launching the city’s first Restaurant Week under slightly different circumstances, as it turned out, and thanks to our sponsors and restaurant operators, we were able to shine a light on our own β€˜cuisine scene’ in a way that has never been done before.”

β€œWe were able to showcase food, fellowship and spirits to our residents and neighbors alike and look forward to announcing our next event soon,” Rountree noted.

The first annual event included prominent sponsors such as the City of Milton, Crabapple Market and Olde Blind Dog and included restaurants such as Milton Cuisine & Cocktails, CANS Taqueria, Peace Love Pizza, NothingBundtCakes, Delightful Donuts, Kathleen’s Catch, Campania and Knuckie’s Gourmet Hoagies.

The eight-day event was a success, with restaurants offering a variety of special promotions such as three-course meals, discounts and unique flavors/dishes to make MRW unique.

Rountree Group Integrated Communications is a Milton-based communications agency that has worked with local and national for a few decades. Given the agency’s work and passion for supporting our local community, Milton Restaurant Week was formed to assist restaurant operators and to provide economic development support for the Milton community.
