Alpharetta-Based Women-Owned Consulting Firm Receives Honors
Customer Focused Strategies recently won top prize from the Greater Women's Business Council for championing women and diversity.
ALPHARETTA, GA — Customer Focused Strategies Managing Partners Pam Lopez and Suzanne Beisner are as passionate about supporting supplier diversity and women-owned businesses as they are about their clients’ success. As a result, the long-time business partners took home first-place in the LACE (Ladies Achieving Continuous Excellence) Awards in their revenue category.
Created and sponsored by the Greater Women’s Business Council, the LACE Awards
recognize Council corporate members and certified women-owned businesses for their
commitment and contributions toward the success of women-owned businesses. Over 200
business leaders gathered recently at the virtual black-tie masquerade gala to honor and
celebrate the nominees and winners of the LACE Awards in a variety of categories.
“The LACE Awards is an important celebration for our entire membership,” said Roz Lewis, president and CEO of Greater Women’s Business Council. “It’s here we recognize our outstanding partners and women business enterprises for their commitment to the mission of Greater Women’s Business Council: To advance, promote and advocate for women business owners through education, mentoring, certification and corporate partnering.”

Customer Focused Strategies was honored with the “Trailblazer of the Year” award in the $1-$5 million annual sales category. Customer Focused Strategies was also a recipient of this award in 2017. The Trailblazer Award recognizes women-owned businesses who exemplify leadership, creativity and innovation. The award is based on a number of factors including quality of products and services provided, innovative approaches to solving customer problems, community involvement and mentorship initiatives, and effectively partnering with procurement and supplier diversity groups.
Lopez and Beisner founded Customer Focused Strategies in 1999 with the goal of creating a
unique type of consulting model to address some of the gaps they had observed in traditional
models while working in corporate America.

“We wanted to be a true partner to our customers – an extension of their teams – and bridge the gap between strategy and execution," Beisner said. "We didn’t want our work to be a binder on a shelf; we wanted to live the implementation with our customers."
That strategy has proven successful for the past 21 years.
The Alpharetta based management consulting firm specializes in designing strategy for product management, sales channels, marketing, customer care and training.
“Customer Focused Strategies uses a collaborative team structure to deliver successful results for our clients, and we bring the ‘voice of the customer’ to every project we do,” Beisner said.
The firm prides itself on retaining long-term clients in a range of industries.
