Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

Getting Along, Inc. is a concierge counseling practice that uses psychotherapy to help people get along. Get help with coping with the stress, anxiety and fear brought on by this pandemic. I have three decades of experience.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

I'm spending more time than usual reaching out to folks offering help with adjusting to the increase in anxiety we all feel.


How can local customers support you now and in the future?

By understanding that therapy isn't just for people who have serious issues. It helps with everyday issues like relationship struggles. Therapy helps with making better decisions. It helps with not being so aggravated in traffic. Therapy gives you a new outlook, one that makes every part of your life easier and more satisfying.


Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

Take this opportunity to be kinder and more forgiving. Look for ways to help others. Become more engaged with those you love. In other words, move a bit further away from your own worries and find that giving really is the best way to receive.
