Alpharetta Election Hinges on 24 Provisional Ballots
The Board of Registration & Elections will consider those ballots before the election can be certified and a winner decided.

Fulton County told the city of Alpharetta that 24 provisional ballots are under consideration for the Alpharetta municipal election.
Donald Mitchell leads Doug DeRito by seven votes in the City Council Post 1 election before those provisional ballots are considered and counted.
"We are told that the race will not be decided until Saturday," said city spokesman James Drinkard.

The Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections will hold a meeting on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Fulton County Government Center on Pryor Street in Atlanta.
The Board will meet to review the 2013 Municipal General/Special Election and for the Certification of Results for the Municipal General/Special Election held on Nov. 5 by Fulton County municipalities, including Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek and Sandy Springs.Â
