Alpharetta To Host Touch-A-Truck Event On Saturday

The 20th annual Touch-A-Truck event in Alpharetta will feature a variety of trucks and vehicles for children to explore.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Imaginations are sure to rev up at Alpharetta’s Touch-A-Truck event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. With a multitude of vehicles for children to explore, as well as food and interactive games for families to enjoy, this event is highly anticipated every year.

Touch-A-Truck features a variety of trucks and vehicles of all shapes and sizes including a fire truck, limousine, dump truck, school bus, 18-wheeler, police vehicles and specialty cars. Children can ask local firemen, police officers and other professionals questions about the vehicles, bounce around in inflatables, participate in interactive games, watch animal balloons be made and get their faces painted.

“Touch-A-Truck has come to hold a special place in the heart of our community because of its interactive and imaginative nature,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau, in a statement. “This annual tradition for visitors and residents in our area is an exciting way to spark the imagination of our children, and we hope families will explore the family-friendly activities, restaurants and attractions in Alpharetta before and after the event.”
