Alpharetta Kicks Off New Summer Music Listening Series Friday

Alpharetta's Music at Twilight will host intimate performances on select Fridays from 8:30 – 10:30 p.m. through August at Old Milton Park.

ALPHARETTA, GA — The City of Alpharetta and Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau are joining forces to build upon the energy in Downtown Alpharetta and enhance the thriving music scene with a new, free summer music series, "Alpharetta’s Music at Twilight." These intimate performances will be held on select Fridays from 8:30 – 10:30 p.m. through August at Old Milton Park on the corner of Milton Ave. and N. Main Street.

Mary Jane Potter, owner of the well-known music venue Matilda’s, will produce the new series. Performances range in genre, style and size and will serve as a great addition to any evening out in downtown Alpharetta.

“Alpharetta is a music lovers paradise,” said Janet Rodgers, president and CEO of the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Adding Alpharetta’s Music at Twilight series is another way to enjoy the abundance of live music in the city. Visitors and residents can take a stroll after dining at one of the Downtown Alpharetta restaurants and then take in some amazing singer-songwriters just steps away.”

Free parking can be found at the new parking deck located at 92 Milton Avenue or 31 Old Roswell Street parking lot. Additional parking is available at the Alpharetta City Hall park deck located at Park Plaza.
