Alpharetta, Milton To Host Memorial Day Tributes To Fallen Heroes
The City of Alpharetta will host its fifth annual Memorial Day Tribute at 9 a.m. Monday, May 27 at City Hall.
ALPHARETTA/MILTON, Ga. — The City of Alpharetta is hosting a multitude of events this Memorial Day weekend for residents staying local, and Milton is hosting a tribute event.
The fifth annual Memorial Day Tribute will be at 9 a.m. Monday, May 27 at Alpharetta City Hall, 2 Park Plaza. This rain or shine event starts with music then the program kicks off at 9:30 a.m. After that, there will be an invocation, posting of colors, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem and keynote speaker Brig. Gen. Thomas H. Blackstock Jr.
Finally, the city will lay a wreath, have a rifle salute and play, "Taps." The event is free for the public to attend.

The City of Milton will be hosting its Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 27 at Freedom Park. The ceremony will feature a guest speaker, a presentation of the colors by the Milton Public Safety Color Guard, local musicians and a roll call of Milton's fallen veterans.
