Alpharetta YMCA Hosts Healthy Kids Day On Saturday
The free, family-friendly festival will offer music, games, food and a chance to learn how to adapt to an active lifestyle.
ALPHARETTA, GA -- Before summer is here, the Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA is hosting Healthy Kids Day, a free festival to celebrate healthy kids, healthy families and healthy communities.
Around metro Atlanta, 18 YMCA locations will feature games, activities, inflatables, food and fun.
The Ed Isakson/Alpharetta Family YMCA, 3655 Preston Ridge Road, will host the event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.

- Live DJ
- Family yoga and Zumba
- Kids obstacle course and inflatables
- Healthy refreshments and smart snacks
- Water and swim safety demos
In collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Y is offering a coupon for free swim lessons to the first 100 children in attendance at Healthy Kids Day.
Additionally, if you become a Y Member at Healthy Kids Day, the organization will waive your joining fee, a savings up to $100.
