Atlantic Seafood Company Now Closed In Alpharetta

Not even a week after receiving a "C" on a health inspection, Atlantic Seafood Company shut its doors on Jan. 20.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Popular seafood restaurant, Atlantic Seafood Company, has officially shuttered its doors as of Jan. 20.

The company updated its online presence on multiple websites, including OpenTable where it changed its status to "closed" and wrote, "Atlantic Seafood Company is officially Closed. Thank you for your years of patronage." Its website is also now unavailable.

Established in 2002 at 2345 Mansell Rd., the company says on Yelp that its "objective has always been to provide guests with a warm and relaxing environment. Personable staff that caters to you as though you were a guest in their home- building a relationship that develops a memorable experience."

On Jan. 14, the restaurant scored a 77, or "C" on a health inspection with six violations. Those included:

  • Observed black mold like substance inside the silver ice machine in the main kitchen
  • Observed multiple TCS foods (butter, raw scallops, raw lobster, raw shrimp, raw fish in prep top coolers and milk in ice bath) not being cold held at 41 Farenheit or below
  • Observed score of 90, "A" from January 2019 displayed and not most recent score of 83, "B" displayed
  • Observed small flying insects in the sushi area and in the main kitchen area
