Brooke Street Park Summer Concert Series Kicks Off May 18

ALPHARETTA, GA — The second annual Brooke Street Park Summer Concert Series will offer 11 free family-friendly concerts this season. Music fans are encouraged to bring a blanket and picnic on the lawn at Alpharetta’s Brooke Street Park located directly behind Alpharetta City Hall.

This year’s concert series kicks off on Saturday, May 18 with the Alpharetta Symphony and continues on select Saturdays through September with additional performers and events such as the Alpharetta City Band and Alpharetta PopFest.

Multiple dates during this year’s series are being presented by popular event producer Home By Dark which has a solid track record of captivating audiences by showcasing songwriters and musicians, the city said.

The 2019 Brooke Street Park Concert Series includes:

• May 18, 7:30 p.m.: The Alpharetta Symphony
• May 2, 7:30 p.m.: Home By Dark presents Jill Paquette-DeZwaan & Jason Hoard
• June 8, 7:30 p.m.: Home By Dark presents Rebecca Correia and Emily Shackleton
• June 15, 5 p.m.: Alpharetta PopFest is an annual event raising money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease
• June 22, 7:30 p.m.: Home By Dark presents UGA Alum Kyshona Armstrong and Jenn Bostic
• July 6, 7:30 p.m.: AlphaJazz featuring the Alpharetta City Band
• July 13, 7:30 p.m.: Home By Dark presents Christopher Cross band member, Marcia Ramirez & Caeland Garner from NBC's The Voice
• July 27, 7:30 p.m.: Home By Dark presents Miranda Lambert's band member Danny Mitchell & Ernie Halter
• August 10, 7:30 p.m.: Home by Dark presents former CCMA Female Artist of the Year, Victoria Banks and Americana singer songwriter, Jesse Terry
• August 24, 7:30 p.m.: Home By Dark presents Billboard Songwriting Award winner Beth Wood & Nathan Angelo
• September 14, 7:30 p.m.: Home By Dark presents JP Williams, Jimmie Allen (writer of #1 country hit "Best Shot") & Sabrina
