Carrington Academy Students Donate 450 Food Items to Nonprofit

Students from two Carrington Academy preschools collected nonperishable food items to benefit Blessings in a Backpack

Students at Carrington Academy Big Creek and Carrington Academy Avalon in Alpharetta recently donated more than 450 food items to Blessings in a Backpack, a local nonprofit that provides food to children in need. Over the past two weeks, students worked together to collect food to stock the organization’s shelves and provide meals to children in their community. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping others.

Blessings in a Backpack mobilizes communities, individuals and resources to provide food on the weekends for children who might otherwise go hungry.
