Family-Friendly 'Noon Year’s Eve' Returns To Avalon Tuesday

ALPHARETTA, GA β€” Pop the bubbly and sparkling cider because on Tuesday, Avalon invites revelers of all ages to ring in 2020 at Noon Year’s Eve, a family-friendly New Year’s celebration hosted at The Hotel at Avalon. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., guests can enjoy a festive lineup of activities including live music, a doughnut wall, photo booth stations and a giant, cascading balloon drop that officially welcomes the new year. Tickets are now on sale.

β€œAfter last year’s sold-out event, we couldn’t wait to bring back Noon Year’s Eve for our beloved North Fulton community,” said Lauren Ness, Marketing Manager at Avalon. β€œNow, kiddos with early bedtimes get to experience the sparkle of New Year’s alongside their parents. We’re looking forward to Noon Year’s Eve being the perfect finale to another amazing holiday season at Avalon.”

Starting at 10 a.m., families and friends are invited to kick off their New Year’s celebrations with exciting live music by DJ Willy Wow, known as the β€œKing of the Kid Zone.” Noon Year’s Eve will feature a variety of indulgent treats, such as a cotton candy station and a one-of-a-kind donut wall. Youngsters can enjoy a Kid’s Only β€œBubbly Bar,” which will serve delicious mocktails garnished with candy, while grown-ups can β€œcheers” with mimosas and holiday libations. In addition, Avalon eateries Chick-fil-A and Antico Pizza will pop-up at the event offering signature menu items.

Throughout the event, kiddos can partake in face painting, crafts, social-media worthy photo opportunities and the opportunity to add a resolution to the resolution wall. Finally, when the clock strikes 11:59 a.m., the symbolic countdown to noon will begin. A giant cascading balloon drop from the ceiling will officially welcome the new decade ­– sealed with family kisses and confetti.

Guests are also invited to participate in a silent auction for the chance to win a variety of family-focused prizes. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Avalon’s New Year’s hours will vary by retailer and restaurant. On New Year’s Eve, Avalon will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with regular operating hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. resuming on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
