Free Child Seat Safety Check Set For Thursday
The event will be held June 16 at Alpharetta Fire Station No. 81 on Webb Bridge Road.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- On Thursday, you will have the opportunity to learn how to properly fit your child's safety seat in your vehicle.Â
The initiative, hosted by the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety in partnership with Safe Kids North Fulton, will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 16 at Alpharetta Fire Station No. 81 at 2970 Webb Bridge Road.Â
No appointments are necessary, and caretakers are encouraged to bring to the event their infants or children and the car seat intended to be used.

National statistics indicate that four out of five child safety seats are misused every day in the United States. Alpharetta police officers and firefighters who are state certified child safety technicians will be on hand to install, evaluate, adjust and demonstrate the proper methods of using a child restraint seat.
Those attending this child safety seat event will also be provided other useful information to help ensure the safety of their children.
