Manning On The Square Brings 58 New Homes To Alpharetta

ALPHARETTA, GA — Another residential development will soon sprout up near downtown Alpharetta. Taylor Morrison has announced its plans to build its 58 single-family home community, Manning on the Square, on the site that's home to the historic Lewis-Manning House.

Situated on 11 acres, the neighborhood will incorporate the historic home and offer new houses with "historic charm and modern lifestyle, surrounded by beautiful views of the large mature pines, hardwoods, and lush vegetation," Taylor Morrison said.

Set to open by early 2019, Manning on the Square will feature two-story homes with brick front elevations keeping with the historic styles represented in the neighborhood, open floor plans including great room on the main floor with bonus rooms upstairs, beautifully appointed designer kitchens, luxurious owner’s suites and flexible upgrade options throughout.

The development will be situated along the northside of Cumming Street from Highway 9 and Manning Drive. The Lewis-Manning House, according to a staff report provided to Alpharetta City Council members at their Sept. 25, 2017, was built in 1895 for Col. Tom Lewis and later sold to the Manning Family in

1905. The two-story Queen Anne-style home will be restored by the company to be used as a professional office.
