ALPHARETTA/MILTON, GA — Monday, May 31 is Memorial Day. In observance of the holiday, most federal, state and local government offices are closed.
There will be no mail delivery. Many businesses are open but with different hours — so it's not a bad idea to check before heading out.
The City of Alpharetta and the Rotary Club of Alpharetta will host a Virtual Memorial Day Tribute at 9 a.m. on Monday.

- Fulton County courts, facilities and offices will be closed on Monday.
- Fulton County public safety services are available 365 days per year.
- Municipal offices for Alpharetta and Milton will be closed.
- Trash services will not be impacted in Alpharetta and depends on trash haulers in Milton.
- All Fulton County public libraries will be closed on Monday, and will reopen to the public Tuesday, June 1 for daily service.
- Alpharetta Adult Activity Center at North Park and Park Place Senior Center will be closed on Monday.
- Fulton County Schools students are on summer vacation.
- This is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed on Monday. No mail will be delivered or sent.
- All banks will be closed.
