In Memory: Dr. Martin Allen Worsencroft, 44, Walgreens Pharmacy Manager
Dr. Worsencroft, a member of Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, was well respected and loved by his colleagues and staff.

Dr. Martin Allen Worsencroft went home to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, May 5, 2016, in Alpharetta, Georgia. He was born Jan. 17, 1972, in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Marty was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in St. Matthews, South Carolina. After moving to Alpharetta, Marty and his family became members of Alpharetta First United Methodist Church.
Marty received his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston followed by his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. There he received the Excellence in Pharmacy Award, among other recognitions.

Since graduating, he has been a long time employee of Walgreens where he served as the Pharmacy Manager for the past eight years. Marty was well respected and loved by his customers and staff. He would go above and beyond the call of duty to help his community and family. He was also incredibly active in all of his daughter's school and extracurricular activities.
Marty was a devoted husband, father, son, uncle and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim; much loved daughter Haley Elizabeth; loving parents, Howard and Caroline Worsencroft of St. Matthews, South Carolina; two brothers, Bert and sister-in-law Lori Worsencroft of St. Matthews, South Carolina; and Joel and sister-in-law Rachel Worsencroft of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and several young nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Marty will be held at Northside Chapel on Crabapple Road in Roswell at 2 p.m. May 11, followed by a reception at Alpharetta United Methodist Church for friends and family.
Visitation will also be held at Northside Chapel on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Kate's Club to help and support children of all ages grieving the loss of loved ones.
