A memorial service for the Atlanta Braves fan who died Saturday after a fall at Turner Field will be held on Thursday.

Editor’s note: the following obituary for Gregory Kent Murrey, who died Saturday in a fall at Turner Field, was submitted by Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory:
Gregory Kent Murrey, known as Ace to his grandchildren, went home to his Lord on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a quiet, but enthusiastic man who did not go timidly through life. He was passionate about his family and friends. They found him to be a compassionate and outgoing man of honor; always supportive and reliable.
He was a lover of all music. He found sustenance and delight in the beauty of music, whether it was James Brown, Bruce Springsteen, Alvin Lee or his beloved blues. His musical tastes were as varied as his friends; interesting and eclectic.

His extended family was a source of great joy. He loved being able to work with his father and son, happy in the interchange of the generations. An unusual man, he listened to his wife of 38 years and grew from her wisdom. Nothing brought him greater happiness than playing with his grandchildren, Madeleine and Hayes.
A vigorous and happy man, he delighted in boisterous childhood play with them. His son and daughter benefited from his kind, calm advice. Greg always felt that his son, Jason, and his daughter, Abby, were his greatest achievements.

All his friends and family were enriched and delighted while living life with him. On his passing, he desired to become a part of our mother earth. He has crossed over the River and rests under the shade of trees.
Greg is survived by his wife, Laura; son Jason and his wife, Kasey, their children Madeleine and Hayes; his daughter, Abby Davis and her husband, Keith; his parents, Bill and Thelma Murrey; sister, Pamela Murrey and an extended family.
