In Memory: Justin Loyal Hicks, 27, Amazing Son and Father

Justin Loyal Hicks passed away Oct. 10, 2016. Justin was an extraordinary human being. He was kind, compassionate, loyal, funny and had the biggest heart of anyone we ever knew. He was an amazing son, brother, husband, and father.

From the day his son, Aiden, was conceived, he was the world’s greatest dad and they were best friends. Justin had the most unique sense of humor and always kept us laughing. He was gone too soon and there will always be a void in our hearts.

Justin was born in Alpharetta, Georgia, on Feb. 22, 1989. He is survived by his wife, Amelia, and four-year-old son, Aiden.

He is also survived by his parents, Clay Hicks and Sondra (Tommy) Hann; his brothers, John (Kirsten) Dindlebeck and Chester (Cassie) Hicks; a niece and several nephews; his grandparents, Lamar (Sue) Brady, and Peggy Hicks; his father and mother-in-law, Lonnie and Linda Ayers; sister-in-law, Ashley Ayers; Linda’s mother Edith Petty; and Lonnie’s father, Wayman Ayers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to The Johnny Foundation to raise awareness of suicide prevention.
