In Memory: Millie Huckabay, Well-Known Antique Dealer
Huckabay operated an antique shop in Crabapple, and her 18th Century log home had been featured on HGTV and in many magazines.

After a four-year battle with cancer, Mildred Carol Huckabay passed away on Nov. 29, 2015.

Millie, as many knew her, was born on Nov. 2, 1937, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Raymond and Helen Hill. She attended Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida. After raising their three boys in Winter Park, Florida, Millie and her husband, Robert, moved to Alpharetta, Georgia in 1995.
Millie was a well-known antique dealer and she has been buying and selling Early American antiques for over 40 years. Their 18th Century log home has been featured on HGTV and in many magazines and publications. Millie was loved by so many of her customers and continued to operate an antique shop in Crabapple, Georgia until October of 2015.

Millie is preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Hill Doss; brother, James H. Hill; and her sons, Lawrence Marion Huckabay and Robert Bruce Huckabay. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Marion Huckabay; her son, Brian Keith Huckabay; daughter-in-law, Paige Murphy Huckabay and grandsons Dylan, Aiden, and Jacob of Cumming, Georgia.
The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held at noon Dec 3 at Northside Chapel. Internment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, Georgia.
