Milton Community Theatre Preparing To Host Inaugural Show
The newly formed Milton Community Theatre is getting ready for its first show "Rumors" by Neil Simon, which will run April 12- 21.

MILTON, GA -- The Milton Arts Council’s newly-formed Milton Community Theatre is getting ready to produce its inaugural show. The group will present the beloved farce play "Rumors" by Neil Simon from April 12- 21 at Northwestern Middle School, 12805 Birmingham Highway.
The premise of the play is at a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get the story straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.
Director Jonathan Goff said in a release, “Rumors is absolutely hilarious. Neil Simon is a genius
when it comes to writing a good farce and Rumors is among his best work."
