Parts Of Webb Rd., Deerfield Pkwy. To Close Sat. For Mayor's Run

Beginning at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Webb Road will be closed where it intersects Deerfield Parkway. All roads will reopen around 9:30 a.m.

MILTON, GA — Portions of Webb Road and Deerfield Parkway will close Saturday morning for the Milton Mayor's Run presents Jog for a Cause.

Beginning at 5:30 a.m., Webb Road will be closed where it intersects Deerfield Parkway. One side of Deerfield Parkway will be closed; drivers can still proceed in both directions on the other side of Deerfield Parkway, but should expect delays.

All roads will reopen to regular traffic after the 5K race ends, which should happen before 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Runners can still preregister for the event, for $30 plus a small processing fee online. Same-day registration is also available.

People can pick-up their race-day packets starting at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, with the 5K race beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The Milton Mayor’s Run Presenting Jog for a Cause will be held at Freedom Park (located at Deerfield Parkway at Webb Road).
