The Milton cross country team hosted another time trial today as Fulton County Schools are still restricted from running against any other schools until at least September 14th due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Most runners competing today ran their first race of the season as a few on the team raced the course for the 2nd time in as many weeks.
The girls race saw junior Jessica Albregts lead wire-to-wire & improve on her performance from last week by 9-seconds (1st-23:28) while besting sophomore Farrah Frith (2nd-23:48) who ran close to a 11-second personal best on the course. Rounding out the top-3 was junior Sydnie Behrman (3rd-25:35).

In the boy's race, senior Jack Petkash ran to a 10-second course personal best (1st-18:12) to take the overall win with fellow senior Connor Brunson (2nd-18:33) & junior Dylan Bowden (3rd-18:59) also turning in course personal-best performances.
The team will compete next week on the home course in it's annual 2-person, 8000 meter Inter-squad Relay before taking the weekend off of racing for the long Labor Day weekend.
