Sgt. Jerrell Stennett, 29, Served With U.S. Army 1st Special Forces Group
Stennett is a Milton High School graduate and attended Southern Union and the University of West Georgia.

Sgt. Jerrell D. Stennett, 29, of Alpharetta, passed away Nov. 16, 2014. Last Honor’s Services will be held 9 a.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 in the chapel of Roswell Funeral Home.
Interment will follow, with full military honors, in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

Sgt. Stennett was a 2003 graduate of Milton High School; and attended Southern Union and the University of West Georgia.
He was an airborne sergeant with the U.S. Army’s 1st Special Forces Group. Sgt. Stennett was an outdoors man: avid bow hunter and fly fisherman; loved the Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees and his diesel truck; not to mention his dogs, Havok and Colt, and cats: Snaggles, Archer, and Mitch.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Stennett; father, Aston Stennett; and mother, Dr. Varieta Benjamin; sister, Tanya Stennett; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family received friends on Wednesday afternoon from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home.
