Stormwater Project At Taylor Road, Batesville Begins This Week

MILTON, GA — Workers will be installing two storm drain boxes and running pipe along the northside of Batesville Road at the intersection with Taylor Road, beginning Monday. We expect this project to be completed in 7-10 days.

Some delays are expected during construction. The road will not close, although at some point it will be down to one lane with a flagger directing.

There have been issues with this intersection holding water, and this project should eliminate the water from the intersection and any issues with ponding and ice as you approach the stop sign.

The city warns drivers to use caution driving through this intersection and obey traffic signage.
