Suspicious Man Asks Milton Kids To Come With Him: Police
He said he was looking for a child in the woods, police say. The kids immediately went inside and told an adult.
MILTON, GA — The Milton Police Department is looking for a suspicious person who was trying to speak to children in the Kingsley Estates neighborhood on Saturday, Dec. 7, according to a social media post by the police department.
Police say when they spoke with the children, they told him the man was trying to talk to them when they were playing outside their home. He pulled into their driveway and asked if they would help look for a lost child in the woods, police say.
The kids immediately went inside and told an adult family member, and the man left.

The man is described as a light-skinned person, wearing sunglasses and driving a dark-colored car.
Police will increase patrols in the area, they say, and recommend all residents remind their kids not to talk to people they don't know, and to report suspicious contact immediately.

The Milton Police Department is investigating the case, and asks anybody who experiences a similar situation to call 911 and ask to meet with an officer.
