Athens Police Look For Man Accused Of Sexual Assault
Athens-Clarke County police say the man inappropriately touched a woman while inside Kroger on Alps Road.
ATHENS, GA — The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is asking the public to help them identify a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman last month at a grocery store.
The man entered Kroger at 191 Alps Road on Feb. 25 and "inappropriately" touched a female at the business, the police department said.
The suspect is described as a white male between 19 and 23 years old with a slim build. Surveillance footage shows he has short dark hair, which may be spiked in the front, the agency added. He was also last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

Epifanio Rodriguez, spokesperson with the police department, said the suspect remains unidentified.
