One of the world's most beloved stories, Cinderella
enchants the young and the young-at-heart audiences.alike,
directed by Artistic Director, Danielle Bailey Miller with original
music from local composer and musician, Daniela M. Monroe, and the
energetic performances of Rose of Athens Theatre Professionals,
Apprentice Youth Company and community newcomers!

Rose of Athens Theatre continues their twelfth season with the family
classic, Cinderella. This stage version, adapted by Forest Cloud has a delightful, comical
take on a time-honored tale. Since her mother's death, Ella Dupree has been away at school
for some time. With news that her father has remarried a mysterious
Baroness, Ella returns home with dreams of a new, happy family.
Unfortunately, it is not the jubilant celebration she had hoped. Ella
must adjust to a new life with her cruel step mother and step
sisters, her increasingly absent father, and the never-ending tasks
given by the Baroness. She dreams of a future that seems far away.
All of that could change with one royal invitation. Join Ella, and a
cast of familiar characters, as we journey to a beautiful Kingdom by
the sea. Danielle Bailey Miller, Artistic Director, is overjoyed about the production,
“Even if you've seen the story a dozen times, it is worth it to see
it a dozen and one times. Forest's adaptation is heartfelt and
comical, the music is fun and beautiful, and the set and costumes are
a feast for the eyes. We're working with professionals, community
members and a lot of youth to bring this story to life. It is an
evening at the theatre that the entire family can enjoy!”
