Cobb County Gun Store Owner Shoots Armed Robber: Police
A suspect in a Cobb County gun store armed robbery is dead, and another suspect is on the loose, according to police.

COBB COUNTY, GA -- An armed robber died Monday morning when the owner of a Cobb County gun store shot him during a botched robbery, according to police.
The robbery occurred early Monday when the owner of Dixie Gun and Pawn on Veterans Memorial Parkway was opening the store, according Channel 2 Action News. Two masked gunman allegedly entered the store with guns drawn, and the gun store owner shot and killed one of them.
The other suspect escaped into the surrounding Mableton neighborhood, where police are looking for him. He is believed to be armed, and authorities are warning residents to call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
