There will be several “make and take” activities for families, such as making green mustaches and then taking a photo in one of Athens Photo Booths. Families also will have the opportunity to make no-sew T-shirt bags, Valentine’s Day picture frames, grease containers and other items with recycled materials. There will also be a petting zoo featuring a dairy calf, sheep, chicken, goats, a peacock, rooster and chicks.

Check the Signs, a local family band, will perform at 12:30 p.m. The band released its debut album “Along the Way” in 2014 and most recently composed and recorded a pop theme song for Binny, the Athens-Clarke County Recycling mascot.
