Rose of Athens Theatre presents the 5th Annual Yuletide Celebration Holiday FUNdraiser, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. This beloved American holiday classic, adapted by Joe Landry, comes to captivating life as a live 1940's radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. The 5th Yuletide Celebration FUNdraiser of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play will be held December 13-17 (W-Sat. 8:00PM & Sun. 2:30PM) at Rose Hall 150 Fritz Mar Lane Athens, GA. There will be complimentary beverages and holiday treats! The Box Office will open at 7:00PM, the House at 7:30PM for general seating, and curtain at 8:00PM. For the Sunday 12/17 performance the Box Office will open at 1:30PM, the House at 2:00PM for general seating, and curtain at 2:30PM. Please note, seating is limited to 30 audience members each performance.Tickets are $15.00/each – General Admission. Tickets may be purchased online at roseofathens.org or email tickets@roseofathens.org. This production is unique because it is a benefit for the services of the nonprofit 501c3, Rose of Athens Theatre, Inc. Without fundraising, RoA cannot continue to offer reasonable ticket prices to schools, financial aid for RoA Academy classes, and free or discounted (when applicable) workshops to the thousands of youth that we serve every year. A portion of the show’s profits will be donated to an anti-hunger initiative in Athens, GA.
This production is directed by Isaac Callahan with a Cast including Patrick Najjar, Lacey Wheeler, Mir Kamin, Shahab Razavi, Benjamin Daniel, Gary T. Moore, Greg Voyles, Richard Chaney, with RoA Academy students Sarah Adams, and Emory Doster and a Production Team including Kamron Moshtael, Bailey Mann, Daniela Monroe, and Danielle Bailey Miller.

Auditions for the third show of the season, Cinderella adapted by Forest Cloud, will be held
January 8 6:00PM-9:00PM. Please prepare one 1-minute contemporary monologue. Contact Danielle Bailey Miller at danielle@roseofathens.org or call 706-340-9181 to sign up for an audition time slot. Please note that you must sign up for an audition time slot to be seen. Callbacks will be held January 9. RoA is accepting resume's for production team positions.
