UGA Football: Keep Holding Those Tigers
While our Dawgs gave us a lot to cheer about this weekend, it is time to focus on some unfinished business from last year – Missouri.

What a weekend of College football. Ranked teams upset. Ole Miss toppled Alabama. And is there anything that Gurley can’t do? To say the least, it was not a boring day in our house. My living room looks like South Milledge after a game day. Pizza boxes scattered, empty bottles, and I think there are streamers still swirling on the ceiling fan blades. I haven’t seen Bear come out of hiding.
While our Dawgs gave us a lot to cheer about this weekend, it is time to focus on some unfinished business from last year – Missouri. These cats were new to our turf but quick to show their claws. They continue to show their prowess by leading the SEC East division with us in tow. Missouri gave us a small gift in their defeat of the Carolina chickens Gamecocks. Now it is our time to capitalize on that gift and show these cats the way to the sandbox.
With one group of Tigers tamed in our win against Clemson, we will need to keep holding this second bunch of Tigers. Our grip will not be able to loosen on these stripped cats until after Auburn. So until Saturday, let me tackle my living room and find Bear. Hey, has anyone seen my lost Georgia flip flop?
