Retired UGA Prof to Speak at Athens GOP Meeting

The Athens GOP will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, October 13 at 6 p.m. at the Country Inn and Suites, 236 Old Epps Bridge Rd., Athens.

Featured speaker is Dr. Harold Brown, retired UGA professor who is the author of the book, The Greening of Georgia, a short novel, The Overriding Miracle, and is the author of several articles about Herbert Hoover, most notably “The Humanity of Herbert Hoover: A Character of Caring.” Dr. Brown is also a senior fellow of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.
