ATHENS, GA -- Athens-Clarke County police arrested a high school student Wednesday after the boy brought a gun on campus, Patch has learned.
Kenyas Yearby, 17, facing armed robbery charges after being arrested at Clarke Central High School, according to news reports.
The gun was found in the teen's backpack, the Athens Banner-Herald reports. Authorities believe the firearm is the same one he brandished in an earlier incident at the Holland Youth Sports Complex when a 16-year-old girl was trying to sell a $700 iPhone, according to the newspaper.
